U.S. Senator Susan Collins is pleased to announce that Christopher Woodcock, a native of Hampden, has been awarded a fall internship in her Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee office in Washington, D.C.
“Internships are extremely beneficial in providing students with the opportunity to gain real life experiences,” said Senator Collins. “During Christopher’s internship he will be able to learn the inner workings of a congressional office by experiencing it first-hand. I welcome Christopher to my staff.”
Woodcock graduated from the Colorado College this May with a degree in History. He is the son of John and Beverly Woodcock of Hampden.
