Senator Collins Welcomes Aroostook Native As Summer Intern In Caribou

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Susan Collins is pleased to announce that Elsa Thibodeau of Stockholm, Maine will work as an intern in her Aroostook County Constituent Service Center this summer.

“Elsa’s desire to assist others makes her a great asset to the Aroostook County Constituent Service Center,” said Senator Collins. “As a native of Stockholm, her knowledge of the Aroostook County area provides her with great insight in order to assist constituents in any facet they may need. I am delighted to have her as a member of my staff, and I’m glad she has the opportunity to work for and assist the people of her home county.”

Elsa, daughter of Joseph Thibodeau and Lisa Anderson, is a 2012 graduate of Caribou High School. She is a rising sophomore at the University of Maine at Orono and is majoring in International Affairs with a concentration in History. She is a dance minor and is involved with both the Dance Club and Hip Hop Club at the University of Maine. She says she is excited to work in an office where people who need help are being assisted on a daily basis.
