U.S. Senator Susan Collins recently participated in a ceremony as Target presented a $5,000 donation to the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter. The Bangor Area Homeland Shelter is a 24/7 facility that provides emergency shelter and supportive services to the homeless and economically disadvantaged of the Greater Bangor area.
“This very generous contribution truly exemplifies the spirit we celebrate in this season of giving,” said Senator Collins. “Homelessness is a growing crisis, especially among those struggling with mental and physical disabilities. Dennis Marble and his devoted staff at the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter have consistently met this crisis with compassion and respect for our neighbors in need, and with the efficient and wise use of resources that have earned the confidence of supporters throughout the Bangor region.”
