Funding Maine’s Future

As part of her Funding Maine’s Future initiative, Senator Collins, the Vice Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, champions investments in Maine that will promote job creation, workforce training, and economic development; expand access to health care; improve public safety, infrastructure, and community resources; and protect our environment.  In 2021, Congress reinstituted Congressionally Directed Spending.  Following this decision, Senator Collins secured a total of more than $500 million for hundreds of Maine projects for FY2022 and FY2023. In FY2024 Senator Collins secured more than $577 million for 231 targeted investments throughout the state, including at least one project in each of Maine’s 16 counties.

Eligible Maine municipalities and non-profit organizations can learn more about how to apply for future funding opportunities HERE.
