UMAINE STUDENT INTERNS FOR SENATOR COLLINS

Bangor- Senator Susan Collins today announced that Michael Aube of Bangor has been awarded an internship in her Bangor office. Aube will be assisting Senator Collins and her staff with the daily operations of the office.

"It is very important for students to gain first hand experiences in politics by participating in the daily operations of a congressional office," said Senator Susan Collins. "It is truly a pleasure to have Michael join the Bangor office for the summer."

Aube graduated from Bangor High School and is now a double major in Political Science and History at Boston College. He became interested in applying for this internship in order to learn the process taken to ensure constituents' concerns and requests are answered to on a daily basis. Michael will graduate from BC in 2007 and is interested in having a career in public service.
