"The Supreme Court's ruling is good news for the more than 100,000 Mainers who lack insurance for prescription drugs and are forced to choose between purchasing excessively priced prescription drugs to keep healthy or vital necessities such as food or heat. I have long encouraged the Courts to allow our state to move forward with this program. States are important laboratories for reform, and we need to let them carry out this innovative attempt to help Mainers cope with the high cost of prescription drugs."
