SNOWE, COLLINS ANNOUNCE FUNDS FOR SCARBOROUGH FIRE DEPARTMENT

WASHINGTON, D.C.—U.S. Senators Olympia Snowe (R-ME) and Susan Collins (R-ME) today announced that the Scarborough Fire Department has been awarded $15,179 in grants from the Department of Homeland Security's Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program.

"The funds awarded to the Scarborough Fire Department will give them the resources necessary to better protect the citizens of Cumberland County," Snowe and Collins said in a joint statement.

These Fire Prevention grants have been awarded to Scarborough in recognition of their experience and expertise in fire prevention and safety programs and activities.
