SNOWE, COLLINS ANNOUNCE FUNDING FOR JACKSON LABORATORY

WASHINGTON, D.C.-U.S. Senators Olympia Snowe (R-ME) and Susan Collins (R-ME) today announced $529,703 in federal funds for Jackson Laboratory of Bar Harbor, Maine from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services for research into deafness and communicative disorders.

"We are pleased that these funds will be available to Jackson Laboratory as they continue their invaluable research into communications disorders," the Senators said in a joint statement.
