SENATORS SNOWE, COLLINS ANNOUNCE $545,000 IN LOAN FUNDING FOR HABITAT FOR HUMANITY/7 RIVERS MAINE IN BATH

              U.S. Senator Olympia J. Snowe and U.S. Senator Susan Collins today announced that Habitat for Humanity/7 Rivers Maine in Bath will receive $545,000 in loan funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development program.  The low-interest loan funding will be used to help the group purchase and renovate its office building at 108 Centre Street in Bath.   “We are excited to announce this funding” noted Senators Snowe and Collins in a joint statement.  “This funding will allow Habitat for Humanity/7 Rivers Maine to grow therefore allowing it to better serve low-income families in Sagadahoc County by building and renovating decent and affordable housing.”   ###
