SENATORS SNOWE, COLLINS ANNOUNCE $350,000 IN GRANT FUNDING FOR THREE CUMBERLAND COUNTY BUSINESSES

U.S. Senator Olympia J. Snowe and U.S. Senator Susan Collins today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development program has awarded a combined $350,000 to three Cumberland County businesses in the form of value-added producer grants.

“This funding will help these businesses grow and expand their operations, creating jobs for our state.” said Senators Snowe and Collins in joint statement.

The funding will be allocated as follows:
- $50,000 - Shamrock Partners, LLC, Freeport
- $150,000 – Catch a Piece of Maine, LLC, Portland
- $150,000 – High Vale Partners, LLC, Freeport

The USDA Rural Development program provides financial loans and grants to help improve the economy and quality of life in all of rural America.
