Senator Collins Welcomes Presque Isle Native to Her Washington, D.C., Office

Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Jacob Towle, a Presque Isle native, has been awarded a fall internship in her Washington, D.C., office. Jacob is the son of Paul and Jane Towle of Presque Isle.

“It is always a pleasure to give Mainers an opportunity to become actively involved in the legislative process and to serve the citizens of Maine,” said Senator Collins. “Jacob is a hard worker with an impressive record of achievement, and I am delighted to welcome him to my Washington, D.C., office.”

Jacob graduated from the University of Maine in May 2016, majoring in Business Marketing and Management. While in college, he was a founding member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and Best Buddies of UMaine. Jacob plans to return to Maine to pursue a career in business.
