Senator Collins Welcomes Owls Head Native As Spring Intern

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Phoebe Ferraiolo, an Owls Head native, has been awarded a spring internship in her Augusta office. Phoebe attended Oceanside High School and first served as an intern in Senator Collins’ Augusta office in the summer of 2014.

“Phoebe is a terrific student and a hard worker, and I am delighted to welcome her back to our Augusta office,” said Senator Collins. “It is always an honor to give students the opportunity to become actively involved in the legislative process and to serve the citizens of Maine.”

Phoebe is currently a junior at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, where she is majoring in political science with a minor in social work. Upon graduation, Phoebe hopes to move to Washington D.C. and obtain a job working for a Member of Congress.
