Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Zach Mills, a Gorham native, was awarded a summer internship in her Portland office. Zach is a 2015 graduate of Gorham High School and is the son of Todd Mills and Cheryl Fotter.

“Zach is a terrific student and a hard worker, and I was delighted to welcome him to my Portland office,” said Senator Collins. “It is always a pleasure to give students an opportunity to become actively involved in the legislative process and to serve the citizens of Maine.”

Zach is a rising junior at the University of Connecticut where he is a double major in political science and history. He is a writer for the UConn Undergraduate Political Review and is also the Community Service chairman for Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity. He hopes to attend law school following his graduation.
