Senator Collins Welcomes Cape Elizabeth Native as Summer Intern

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Joey Labrie, a Cape Elizabeth native, has been awarded a summer internship in her Washington, D.C., office. Joey is a graduate of Cape Elizabeth High School.

"I am pleased to welcome Joey to my Washington D.C. office for a summer internship," said Senator Collins. “He has demonstrated a strong work ethic and leadership skills, and I know he will provide excellent constituent service to his fellow Mainers.”

Joey is a rising senior at Gettysburg College, where he is majoring in Economics and Public Policy. On campus, he is a member of the Gettysburg College Student Senate. Upon graduation, Joey plans to work in Washington D.C. developing federal policy.
