U.S. Senator Susan Collins today released this statement following the Governor’s announcement that a United States Marine from Maine has been killed in Iraq. Marine Private First Class Angel Rosa of South Portland was killed on March 13 in the Al Anbar province of Iraq. He was 21 years old.
“My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Private First Class Angel Rosa during this difficult time. I join all of those who are proud and grateful of his service and will remember this fine Marine for his courage and his commitment to our nation.”
