Lewiston, ME — U.S. Senator Susan Collins recently met with members of the Maine Automobile Dealers Association (MADA) in her Lewiston Constituent Service Center to discuss issues facing this industry in Maine.  The meeting was attended by Tom Brown, President of MADA, Stacy Chandler of Bill Dodge Auto Group and Vice Chair of MADA, Greg Dutch of Dutch Chevrolet Buick in Belfast and Chairman of MADA, John Emerson of Emerson Chevrolet Buick in Auburn and Director of the National Auto Dealer Association (NADA), and Melissa Simones Landry, Policy Director of MADA.

“Maine’s car and truck dealerships create thousands of jobs throughout the state,” said Senator Collins.  “For 75 years, the Maine Automobile Dealers Association has been a strong voice for this industry at both the national and state levels.”

MADA, the statewide organization of franchised new car and truck dealers, is made up of all 115 Maine dealerships, which employ more than 6,200 Mainers.
