Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Brenna Kent, a Scarborough native, has been hired as a staff assistant in her Washington, D.C., office.  Brenna is the daughter of Phil Kent of Scarborough.  She previously served in Senator Collins’ D.C. office as a fall intern this year and a summer intern in 2017.

“Brenna displayed a strong work ethic as a fall and summer intern and has an impressive record of achievement,” said Senator Collins.  “I am delighted that she will continue to serve Mainers as a member of my staff in Washington, D.C.”

Brenna graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in May 2018, where she majored in Political Science with a concentration in Peace and Conflict Studies.  Brenna participated in her college’s Washington, D.C., semester and Study Abroad programs during her junior year.  She was elected to the Pi Sigma Alpha Honors Society and belonged to a number of sports clubs on campus.
