U.S. Senator Susan Collins is calling the decision of Boston Financial Data Services to open an office in Rockland “great news.” According to company officials, Boston Financial intends to hire 100 workers this year, with plans for substantial expansion in the following two years. Senator Collins spoke with company officials and congratulated them for their decision to expand to Maine.
“It is great news that Boston Financial has decided to locate in Rockland. These jobs are very good news for Maine, and Boston Financial will benefit from the hard working, skilled and dedicated individuals that Maine has to offer," said Senator Collins. “I welcome Boston Financial to Maine,” she added.
