Senator Collins Welcomes Vassalboro Native to Her Augusta Office

Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Alexis Dostie, a Vassalboro native, has been awarded a summer internship in her Augusta office. Alexis is 2014 Graduate of Cony High School and the daughter of Angela and Bruce Dostie of Vassalboro.

“Alexis is a terrific student and a hard worker, and I am delighted to welcome her to my Augusta office” said Senator Collins. “It is always an honor to give students the opportunity to become actively involved in the legislative process and to serve the citizens of Maine.”

Alexis is entering her senior year at Boston College. She is currently studying psychology. Upon graduation, Alexis is interested in pursuing a law degree and hopes her experience in Senator Collins’ office will enhance her studies, and problem solving skills.
