Senator Collins Welcomes Kennebunk Native as Spring Intern

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Quinn Sargent, a Kennebunk native, has been awarded a spring internship in her Washington, D.C., office. Quinn is the daughter of Courtney Downs and Kevin Sargent.

 

“It is always a pleasure to give Mainers an opportunity to see the legislative process firsthand and to serve the citizens of Maine,” said Senator Collins. “Quinn has a strong work ethic and a commendable desire to work in public service. I am delighted to welcome her to my Washington, D.C., office.”

 

Quinn is a senior at George Washington University (GWU) in Washington, D.C. She is studying her self-designed major, media communications and business, B.A. At GWU, she is a member of the Pi Beta Phi Women’s Fraternity and Women’s Pre-Law Association, a writer for Her Campus, a radio host, and a member of the club field hockey team. After the completion of her degree, she will pursue a career in law.
