"Political leaders and people around the world have found ways to express their grief for the loss of President Reagan and to show their immense respect for this great man," said Senator Collins. "I join America in grieving the loss of a great leader, a great President, and a great American, and in offering my thoughts and prayers to the former First Lady and other loved ones. I invite Mainers who would like to extend their own condolences, to do so in writing in this Sympathy Book, and we will make sure their well-wishes are passed on to the family."
The Sympathy Book will be available for written comments from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday, at Senator Collins office at 160 Main Street in Biddeford. The book will remain open during the 30-day period of national mourning for President Reagan. After this time, the album will be presented to President Reagan's family.
