Senator Collins marched down Main Street in Saco joining Mainers from Saco, Biddeford, and Old Orchard Beach to celebrate the City of Saco’s 250th anniversary. The parade kicked off a month-long series of events, including a reading of the proclamation at the original meeting house in Biddeford, a city-wide scavenger hunt, photo displays in storefronts, a historic timeline, an authentic encampment, horse-drawn historic tours, and more.
